Privacy Notice

This notice explains what Cibola County Released Inmates collects, how information is used, and when it may be shared. It applies while a visitor browses this site, sends a message, or uses a search tool placed here. By continuing to use the site, a visitor accepts the practices described in this notice.

Information You Submit

Terms Entered in Search Tools

When a visitor enters a name, location, or other term in a search box, the query passes to the third-party provider that operates that tool. Cibola County Released Inmates does not store or log those search terms on its own systems. The provider’s policy and terms govern its receipt and use of the query.

Messages Sent to Us

If a visitor sends an email or submits a contact message, we retain the supplied information as needed to review and answer it. We do not share the message outside our organization unless disclosure is required by law or a valid legal process.

Automatic Technical Information

Normal web operations can record limited technical and usage details when a page loads. These logs help deliver pages, measure use, and diagnose faults. The details may include:

  • the internet protocol address associated with the request;
  • browser name and browser version;
  • device category and operating system;
  • pages opened and the time spent on them;
  • the referring website, when one is supplied; and
  • the date and time of each request.

Cookie Use

Cookies and similar tools may be used to understand site traffic and how visitors move through the pages. A browser can reject or remove cookies. Blocking them may change how some site or partner features behave.

Purposes for Using Data

Collected information supports ordinary site operations. We use it only for practical functions such as:

  • keeping the site available, stable, and responsive;
  • sending a search request to the selected partner tool;
  • learning which Cibola County release-resource pages visitors find useful;
  • finding, testing, and repairing technical problems; and
  • displaying advertising that may reflect a visitor’s interests.

Websites Beyond Our Control

Links on this site lead to Cibola County offices, New Mexico court and corrections systems, federal locators, public-record sources, and outside search tools. After a visitor follows a link, the destination’s own privacy policy applies. We do not control how that separate operator collects, keeps, or uses information.

Advertising partners may use their own technology to measure activity across different sites and choose targeted ads. That tracking occurs through the partner’s systems, not through records hosted by Cibola County Released Inmates.

Parties That May Receive Data

We do not sell personal information. Limited information may still be received by parties that provide a service or have lawful authority to demand it:

  • search partners that process terms entered in their tools;
  • analytics providers that measure traffic and performance;
  • advertising networks that deliver or assess ads; and
  • law enforcement or another government body acting under a valid order or legal requirement.

Our Security Measures

Reasonable, standard safeguards are used to reduce the risk of improper access, loss, or misuse. No website, network, storage service, or internet transmission is completely secure. We therefore cannot promise that a breach or other security incident will never occur.

Visitors Younger Than Eighteen

This site is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from a person under 18. If a parent or guardian believes that a minor submitted personal data, they may use the Contacts page to request review and deletion.

Choices About Personal Data

Depending on the law that applies, a visitor may ask us to take the following steps for personal data maintained by this site:

  • provide a copy of the personal information we hold;
  • correct information that is inaccurate;
  • erase information when the request is legally available; or
  • stop or opt out of certain forms of processing.

These rights concern data held by this private site. Requests for Cibola County or NMCD public records are governed by the New Mexico Inspection of Public Records Act, NMSA 1978 §§ 14-2-1 et seq., and must go to the government custodian.

Changes to This Notice

We may revise this privacy notice as the site, its services, or legal duties change. A revised version takes effect when it is posted here with a new effective date.
